The first of the Bø farms burial sites is in this area, despite the name implying another use. The story goes that the mounds were built by Swedish soldiers in The Great Nordic War of 1700-1721, but it was actually Norwegian soldiers who were left here from 1716-1718 to prevent Swedish troops from coming through!
From here it is 3.3km to Slemmestad, 11.1km to Gullaug, 1.7km to the Kullmile which is the next stop towards Slemmestad and 0.1km to the Burial sites at Bø, the next stop towards Gullaug. Enjoy the walk!
