You can see traces of the old roadway to the left. There used to be a two storey grain dryer belonging to Fossum farm, south of the road here. The corn was dried on the second floor in a grain dryer (kjone) before it was ground.
From here it is 4.4km to Slemmestad, 10.0km to Gullaug, 0.3km to The wheelwright’s workshop which is the next stop towards Slemmestad and 0.2km to Grodal mill and sawmill, the next stop towards Gullaug. Enjoy the walk!
